My spicy homemade pimento cheese spread is loaded with yummy cheese, a little spice, and just enough mayo to hold it all together.

This spread is fantastic served with crackers as an appetizer.

And, this spread is phenomenal as a base for a sandwich.

If you don’t like any heat, just leave out the minced Serrano pepper.

My Sandwich Recipe

I use Texas Toast Garlic French bread.

Next, place it in the oven and follow the box directions for the correct temperature.

Bake the bread for approximately 4 minutes.

Remove the bread from the oven and spread my garlic basil mayonnaise onto each slice.

Next, place pimento cheese on the bread slices.

Bake in the oven until the cheese is bubbly and melted.

Add cooked bacon, lettuce, and garden tomato slices to one side of the toast.

Place the slices together.

Enjoy!
