This spread is the perfect base for any sandwich. It whips up in no time at all and keeps in the fridge for a week.
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves peeled garlic
- 2 generous handfuls of fresh basil leaves
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Throw all the ingredients in the blender and pulse until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour in an airtight container and chill for at least 4 hours before using for a more intense flavor.
