My handmade vintage Christmas Ornaments came from trying to decide what to do with the plethora of trims and passementerie I have had laying around.

I used to own my own drapery and bedding workroom.

So, I accumulated quite the stash of trims, beading, and ribbons.

After closing my workroom nearly 10 years ago, I just could not part with my collection.

None of the trims I have on hand are enough yardage to make even the smallest pillow.

But, this year, I decided to get creative.

I pulled out the trims that I thought would work.

Then I carefully separated the tassels and beading from the banding of each piece of trim.

I also mixed in dried orange slices and velvet ribbons with the trims.

The result is stunning.

You can make your own stunning, one of kind handmade vintage Christmas ornaments as well.
