Creamy Balsamic Salad Dressing

This homemade salad dressing is so easy and quick.  It will be your go to dressing from here on out.


  • 1/2 cup light olive oil
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T mayonaise
  • 1 T Dijon Mustard
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 t salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 t pepper (or to taste)


  1. In a small glass bowl, mix olive oil and balsamic together with a whisk.
  2. Add in the mayonaise, dijon mustard, garlic, and salt and pepper.
  3. Whisk again.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.


  • Using a funnel, pour this dressing into a pretty bottle.
  • This dressing keeps for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
